The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Abascal during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SuliMelilla's Casimiro Abascal got a free kick in the 10th minute. Platon Blazquez succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Sabino Peña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Blazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the SuliMelilla defense, Emenon Fuente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sabino Peña. The SuliMelilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabino Peña should have stopped the shot. Sabino Peña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Platon Blazquez in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Platon Blazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis-Miguel Babia hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Sabino Peña came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by UD Almería's Platon Blazquez. But to his dismay, Platon Blazquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sabino Peña was a little too slow when Emenon Fuente got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 6-0. Sabino Peña came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Almería's Platon Blazquez. But to his dismay, Platon Blazquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emenon Fuente in the 31st minute of play forced SuliMelilla's goalkeeper Sabino Peña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emenon Fuente scored 8-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sabino Peña, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabino Peña came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Almería's Emenon Fuente. But to his dismay, Emenon Fuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 38th minute, UD Almería's Emenon Fuente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 10-0. SuliMelilla's Sabino Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emenon Fuente in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Sofronio Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Sabino Peña. SuliMelilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 47 minutes into the match, Emenon Fuente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sabino Peña, 12-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 12-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emenon Fuente was the one to do the kick off. Sabino Peña came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Almería's Emenon Fuente. But to his dismay, Emenon Fuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. In the 59th minute, Javier Mascherano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, UD Almería's Bitxintxo Prieto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 64th minute, Sofronio Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabino Peña was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. In the 71st minute Emenon Fuente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabino Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 75 minutes, Luis-Miguel Babia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuliMelilla and the UD Almería players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, SuliMelilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Miguel Babia to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, SuliMelilla's goal looked a bit too open when Emenon Fuente came free, but Sabino Peña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes SuliMelilla got a freekick which was hit by Javier Mascherano. After 84 minutes, Emenon Fuente made it 18-0 with a short kick to the right side. SuliMelilla's Sabino Peña tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Bitxintxo Prieto managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Almería's supporters rose to their feet, but Bitxintxo Prieto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabino Peña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the match, Platon Blazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabino Peña. SuliMelilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Platon Blazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 19-0. SuliMelilla's Sabino Peña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emenon Fuente in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, UD Almería's Sofronio Quiroga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sabino Peña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 20-0. There was no doubt that UD Almería were the better team. UD Almería's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
