In the 15th minute Platon Blazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Macho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emenon Fuente in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Macho saved Ibiza City FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emenon Fuente in the 28th minute of play forced Ibiza City FC's goalkeeper Marcial Macho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emenon Fuente, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Emenon Fuente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Macho. Ibiza City FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emenon Fuente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. If Sofronio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Emenon Fuente sped through Ibiza City FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcial Macho. Marcial Macho came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Almería's Emenon Fuente. But to his dismay, Emenon Fuente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Henric Ziguenza made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ibiza City FC defense, Emenon Fuente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Macho. The Ibiza City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Macho should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiza City FC's zone, Platon Blazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Macho came out of the goal and Platon Blazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Macho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Blazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Iván Quijana was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Emenon Fuente put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Marcial Macho. Marcial Macho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emenon Fuente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Platon Blazquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcial Macho came out and tried to block the shot, but Platon Blazquez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd play minute Emenon Fuente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcial Macho. 0-12. Marcial Macho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofronio Quiroga in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Ibiza City FC's goalkeeper Marcial Macho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Platon Blazquez. The supporters of UD Almería booed when Ibiza City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quin De Pablo didn't get a good kick on the ball. UD Almería's Sofronio Quiroga got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Ibiza City FC's goalkeeper Marcial Macho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emenon Fuente. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Emenon Fuente took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Marcial Macho to make any attempt to save it. Ibiza City FC's Marcial Macho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Blazquez in the 94th minute of play.
