RC Nightwish de Tui's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano De Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Idacio Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Peli Zafrilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RC Nightwish de Tui's Etor Sarro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, West Ham Ibèric's Unax Bernal got a free kick in the 32nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee ignored West Ham Ibèric's protests and gave Unax Bernal a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of West Ham Ibèric:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Zabal Barroso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Idacio Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Zubizarreta in the 98th minute of the match.
