FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Angelo Fresnos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gorri Feal in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes in the game Timo Gimenez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cosme Bacete. When Txema Quintero fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Excalibur FC's protests and gave Txema Quintero a yellow card for diving instead. Txema Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Pedro Dios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beltxe Cabrera having to make a save. Pedro Dios hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Excalibur FC's Froilan Alonso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Excalibur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Pancho came free, but Beltxe Cabrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beltxe Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Emiliano Pancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beltxe Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Fresnos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Timo Gimenez. FLAMENGO San Sebastian's Emiliano Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gorri Feal was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorri Feal in the 53rd minute of play forced FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aitor Maroto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Angelo Fresnos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FLAMENGO San Sebastian made a substitution. Gizon Nueva replaced Thomas Vermaelen. The supporters of Excalibur FC booed when FLAMENGO San Sebastian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanne Claevers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Pancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beltxe Cabrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Pancho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes, Peri Gene mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLAMENGO San Sebastian and the Excalibur FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes FLAMENGO San Sebastian got a freekick which was hit by Peri Gene. It was beautiful to see Excalibur FC's Gorri Feal in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! FLAMENGO San Sebastian played a much better game than Excalibur FC and deserved their victory. The Excalibur FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
