With an all-out effort, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's Alvaro Garcia threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldemer Cartagena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The tension between the Vélez Sarsfield Alicante and the TALADROCAMPEON F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Vélez Sarsfield Alicante got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Carreira. After having played for 43 minutes, Raphael Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Garcia having to interfere. With a little luck, Vélez Sarsfield Alicante's Alvaro Garcia got control of the ball when Johan Fano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute, Baldemer Cartagena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 57 minutes, Johan Fano made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vélez Sarsfield Alicante's Alvaro Garcia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the match, TALADROCAMPEON F.C's goalkeeper Kiko Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trevor Gould. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Neron Moya during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TALADROCAMPEON F.C getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Neron Moya hit a great ball. Isaac Cayuela charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Cayuela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 94 minutes into the match, Hustaz Bargas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kiko Meireles. TALADROCAMPEON F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hustaz Bargas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Trevor Gould sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Rai Rey fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Vélez Sarsfield Alicante players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
