After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Beturian Buenafuente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juan Pablo II's supporters rose to their feet, but Beturian Buenafuente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Malmström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Uria made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Carlos Roca sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, Juan Pablo II's Beturian Buenafuente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Malmström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 18 played minutes CHISPACOIN got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Varela. Jan Malmström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinto Gene, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Carlos Roca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Goyo Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rigoberto Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Teofilo Uria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Juan Pablo II's Manolo Rallo got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Quinto Gene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juan Pablo II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinto Gene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Roca to strike the kick off in the second half. Aiert Morales hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Goyo Vives had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Malmström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Goyo Vives showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. Jan Malmström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 70th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. CHISPACOIN's Jan Malmström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save CHISPACOIN from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Goyo Vives took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Jan Malmström to make any attempt to save it. After 82 minutes, Agustín Llinares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juan Pablo II and the CHISPACOIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Agustín Llinares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goyo Vives fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Malmström having to interfere. CHISPACOIN's Jan Malmström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Valdés in the 94th minute of play. Juan Pablo II played a much better game than CHISPACOIN and deserved their victory. The CHISPACOIN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
