The supporters of El Kiwy Mecanico booed when Real Cogollos Vega C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Castellano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Leseduarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermelando Rey having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Raya in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermelando Rey saved El Kiwy Mecanico from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Real Cogollos Vega C.F.'s Dantel Bermudez got a free kick in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dantel Bermudez got free with Hermelando Rey in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Leizarraga Urbieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan-Alfredo Vuelta made a kick off. Leizarraga Urbieta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Jokin Castelao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dantel Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Real Cogollos Vega C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dantel Bermudez couldn't finish the play. After 66 played minutes Real Cogollos Vega C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Castellano. After a rather tough play, El Kiwy Mecanico's Mario Balotelli got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes El Kiwy Mecanico got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Urbieta. Dantel Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Kiwy Mecanico's Hermelando Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dantel Bermudez in the 74th minute of play. Aldo Raya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hermelando Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th match minute, El Kiwy Mecanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Urbieta to maneuver through the defense. Real Cogollos Vega C.F.'s Aldo Raya got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in El Kiwy Mecanico's zone, Aldo Raya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermelando Rey came out of the goal and Aldo Raya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
