In the 15th minute, Rey Cao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Real Cogollos Vega C.F.'s Dantel Bermudez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 25th match minute, Real Cogollos Vega C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oxel Calvo to maneuver through the defense. Ekialde Garay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trevor Gould, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ekialde Garay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rai Rey went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Real Cogollos Vega C.F.'s Ekialde Garay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rai Rey in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Raya in the 38th minute of play forced Vélez Sarsfield Alicante's goalkeeper Alvaro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vélez Sarsfield Alicante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Garcia should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Cogollos Vega C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vélez Sarsfield Alicante had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
