Sergi Velazquez was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's corner Sergi Velazquez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lope Mangas quite easily take care of the ball. In the 10th play minute Jokin Bernal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lope Mangas. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Jokin Bernal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lope Mangas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jokin Bernal got free with Lope Mangas in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jokin Bernal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lope Mangas came out and tried to block the shot, but Jokin Bernal slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jokin Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jokin Bernal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lope Mangas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute of the match, Unax Ondategui got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lope Mangas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Barrikako Herensugeak F.C getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Pepe Galnares hit a great ball. If Jokin Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lope Mangas was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Unax Ondategui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Unax Ondategui really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Jokin Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lope Mangas made a huge save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Hervé made a kick off. Lope Mangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokin Bernal, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, ESPEIN 2011's goal looked a bit too open when Jokin Bernal came free, but Lope Mangas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iratxo Crespo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's Iratxo Crespo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. During the 76th minute of the match Etxatxu Landa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Etxatxu Landa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrikako Herensugeak F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! Lope Mangas had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Michel Hervé's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Jokin Bernal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Jokin Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jokin Bernal came free in the 99th minute and tried to tip the ball over Lope Mangas, but to the joy of ESPEIN 2011's supporters the ball went over. Barrikako Herensugeak F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
