The Moncalvillo De Huete fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Moncalvillo De Huete's Leocadio Casero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pelayo Montero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yago Pascual went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 27 minutes, Tulio Canyelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moncalvillo De Huete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tulio Canyelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Pelayo Montero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliciano Carballeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gualterio Vilanova made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Tulio Canyelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moncalvillo De Huete's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VALPICA C.F. the free kick. Moncalvillo De Huete's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Feliciano Carballeira scored to the left of an out of position Gualterio Vilanova, making the score, 1-3. If Yago Pascual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes VALPICA C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Argider Ruiz. Moncalvillo De Huete's Yago Pascual got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rios Pujol charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rios Pujol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Moncalvillo De Huete made a substitution. Erasto Casas replaced Leocadio Casero. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nacho Marrero to strike the kick off in the second half. Pelayo Montero acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurelio Molina. Kevin Rallo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes, Moncalvillo De Huete's Leoncio Orbiz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pelayo Montero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moncalvillo De Huete reached it. Tulio Canyelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aurelio Molina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Goren Barba fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VALPICA C.F.'s protests and gave Goren Barba a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to VALPICA C.F. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. In the 81st minute, Xinto Ortega had to leave the field with a concussion. 81 minutes into the game, Saturnin Gala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VALPICA C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moncalvillo De Huete the free kick. Moncalvillo De Huete's Txomin Sans was substituted for Xinto Ortega. In the 82nd minute, Saturnin Gala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pelayo Montero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yago Pascual went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Pelayo Montero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tulio Canyelles in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Moncalvillo De Huete's Tulio Canyelles got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Moncalvillo De Huete left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VALPICA C.F..
