Deportivo La Coruña's Leopold Minđek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Nacho Marrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopold Minđek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nacho Marrero got free with Leopold Minđek in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nalo Zabalo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pelayo Montero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nalo Zabalo ran back to his position shaking his head. Goren Barba's late challenge caught a Deportivo La Coruña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Goren Barba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Goren Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Nacho Marrero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopold Minđek. Nacho Marrero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Manuel Urruti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopold Minđek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nacho Marrero went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Deportivo La Coruña's Leopold Minđek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rios Pujol in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 47 minutes, Nacho Marrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VALPICA C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nacho Marrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nacho Marrero to make the kick off. Leopold Minđek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Marrero in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nacho Marrero in the 66th minute of play forced Deportivo La Coruña's goalkeeper Leopold Minđek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo La Coruña's Leopold Minđek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Marrero in the 71st minute of play. Nalo Zabalo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nalo Zabalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Deportivo La Coruña getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. In the 79thth minute of the game Nacho Marrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo La Coruña's Leopold Minđek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anxo santillana took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopold Minđek. Leopold Minđek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Nalo Zabalo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that VALPICA C.F. were the better team. VALPICA C.F.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
