With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan-Luis Caballero in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopold Minđek saved Deportivo La Coruña from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Godfredo Gene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Godfredo Gene cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Leopold Minđek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd match minute, Beticostrogodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Luis Caballero to maneuver through the defense.

After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Lucas Calderon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beticostrogodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Calderon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopold Minđek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Luis Caballero in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopold Minđek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Godfredo Gene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beticostrogodo's Truylos Baltanas was substituted for Godfredo Gene. After 82 minutes of play, Beticostrogodo's Juan-Luis Caballero made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopold Minđek was left in no man's land by his defense there!
