The referee showed Berto Mendez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berto Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Benito Morientes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eneko Vilanova fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Guttenberg having to interfere. Eneko Vilanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Sam Guttenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Eneko Vilanova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Leones de Montepinar getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gustavo Saez hit a great ball. Eneko Vilanova hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ionel Drâmbă put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lawrence Pantoja. The audience was convinced that Ionel Drâmbă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lawrence Pantoja was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a little luck, Leones de Montepinar's Lawrence Pantoja got control of the ball when Toribio Estrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eneko Vilanova in the 27th minute of play forced La Cultu's goalkeeper Sam Guttenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Cultu's Colas Estrada got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Colas Estrada off the ground. A collision led to La Cultu getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Colas Estrada hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Eneko Vilanova who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Cultu's Sam Guttenberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Toribio Estrada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Cultu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones de Montepinar the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Toribio Estrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Toribio Estrada notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Leones de Montepinar's Lawrence Pantoja. Lawrence Pantoja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amancio Gabirel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lawrence Pantoja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toribio Estrada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lawrence Pantoja having to interfere. Ionel Drâmbă struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Lawrence Pantoja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Cultu.

The wind increased when Eneko Vilanova made the kick off in the second half. Lawrence Pantoja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Gabirel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Juan Vives mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leones de Montepinar and the La Cultu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Leones de Montepinar got a freekick which was hit by Juan Vives. In the 64th minute, Amancio Gabirel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lawrence Pantoja came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by La Cultu's Amancio Gabirel. But to his dismay, Amancio Gabirel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Leones de Montepinar's Eneko Vilanova slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sam Guttenberg. That made the score 4-1 after 74 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, La Cultu's goalkeeper Sam Guttenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oxel Segarra. After some careless play in the Leones de Montepinar defense, Ionel Drâmbă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lawrence Pantoja. The Leones de Montepinar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lawrence Pantoja should have stopped the shot. Alberto Nueva hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Eneko Abellan fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 97th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot.
