Tana's Silban Dulce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Maldonado in the 4th minute of play. Charro Arraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uxio Pedraza having to interfere. The supporters of Tana booed when Palma City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazuste Verdu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Eusebio Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silban Dulce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silban Dulce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Perico Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uxio Pedraza having to interfere. Tana's Melquiades Montaña got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Perico Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perico Villa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Uxio Pedraza came out and tried to block the shot, but Perico Villa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Eusebio Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Silban Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Licerio Valines notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Palma City's Uxio Pedraza. Uxio Pedraza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Palma City's zone, Perico Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uxio Pedraza came out of the goal and Perico Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tana's Perico Villa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uxio Pedraza. That made the score 3-0 after 36 minutes of play. 41 minutes in the game, Charro Arraz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Uxio Pedraza having to interfere. If Berenguer Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charro Arraz came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Tana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charro Arraz couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Carmelo Reina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palma City and the Tana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palma City getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Carmelo Reina hit a great ball.
In the 55th minute of the match, Berenguer Colillas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Silban Dulce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Charro Arraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Silban Dulce managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Palma City's Claus Mangas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berenguer Colillas got free with Silban Dulce in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berenguer Colillas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Silban Dulce made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Charro Arraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uxio Pedraza. Palma City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charro Arraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Eusebio Maldonado might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silban Dulce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Maldonado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 played minutes Tana got a freekick which was hit by Baldemer Mata. Silban Dulce was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Blai Raya. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldemer Mata during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tana! The referee gave Palma City a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blai Raya, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tana's Silban Dulce. 4-1. Charro Arraz took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uxio Pedraza. Uxio Pedraza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1.
