Xan Helguera might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Noya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xan Helguera ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jerrald Camarasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montxo Zapater kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Fonso Huerta lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jesús Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcañiz CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesús Casado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Noya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Román Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Danilo Noya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesús Casado in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Noya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th minute, Ismael Rey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Noya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesús Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerrald Camarasa took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Noya. Danilo Noya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After having played for 58 minutes, Jesús Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcañiz CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesús Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Jesús Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Noya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Danilo Noya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesús Casado's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Danilo Noya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Llomol C.F's Danilo Noya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Llomol C.F from getting a goal against them. Xan Helguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Danilo Noya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Rey Bacete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jesús Casado got free with Danilo Noya in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Llomol C.F's zone, Xan Helguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Noya came out of the goal and Xan Helguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Danilo Noya managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Alcañiz CD's Jesús Casado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 84 minutes, Jesús Casado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcañiz CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesús Casado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Llomol C.F's zone, Xan Helguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Noya came out of the goal and Xan Helguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Alcañiz CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesús Casado to maneuver through the defense.
