Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oxel Segarra made the kick off which started today's match. Lawrence Pantoja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Mas in the 10th minute. Alcañiz CD's Pacorro Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oxel Segarra in the 11th minute of play. Pacorro Olmedo came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Leones de Montepinar's Oxel Segarra. But to his dismay, Oxel Segarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Argenis Ramiréz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alcañiz CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argenis Ramiréz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcañiz CD's Pacorro Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Cruz in the 20th minute of play. Xan Helguera charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xan Helguera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Alcañiz CD defense, Oxel Segarra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pacorro Olmedo. The Alcañiz CD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pacorro Olmedo should have stopped the shot. Naldo Moya scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pacorro Olmedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Lawrence Pantoja managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Alcañiz CD's Jesús Casado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Leones de Montepinar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Manolo Mas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 33rd minute of the match, Manolo Mas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lawrence Pantoja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Manolo Mas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Leones de Montepinar's Naldo Moya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pacorro Olmedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half Leones de Montepinar were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesús Casado to strike the kick off in the second half. Xan Helguera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. In the 61st minute, Alcañiz CD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Naldo Moya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gandolfo Azofra's late challenge caught a Leones de Montepinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gandolfo Azofra helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd match minute, Alcañiz CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gandolfo Azofra to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Oxel Segarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pacorro Olmedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Leones de Montepinar's Pacorro Olmedo threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oxel Segarra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Although Alcañiz CD had been in control for most of the match, Leones de Montepinar still came away with the win.
