La Cultu's Sam Guttenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Eladio in the 28th minute of play. Ionel Drâmbă did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Danilo Noya 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julián Esperta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Llomol C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Bacete to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Llomol C.F booed when La Cultu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patxi Abril didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Eladio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Ionel Drâmbă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llomol C.F's Danilo Noya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristeo Gómez during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Llomol C.F was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julián Esperta to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to La Cultu getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Salvador Camarasa hit a great ball. Rodolfo Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Sam Guttenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that La Cultu were the better team. La Cultu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
