Spectators: 7960 (Terracing: 5971, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Angelines Barba made the kick off which started today's match. Berto Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Reina in the 3rd minute of the match. Berto Mendez came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Palma City's Claus Mangas. But to his dismay, Claus Mangas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Berto Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Reina, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Eusebio Maldonado scored 0-2 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Berto Mendez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th match minute, Palma City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Reina to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Mazuste Verdu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palma City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones de Montepinar the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Palma City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Leones de Montepinar:s goal. After 26 minutes of play, Palma City's Berenguer Colillas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berto Mendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute Berenguer Colillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berto Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Maldonado took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berto Mendez. Berto Mendez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 40 minutes of play, Palma City's Carmelo Reina made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Berto Mendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Palma City's Mazuste Verdu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claus Mangas in the 47th minute of play forced Leones de Montepinar's goalkeeper Berto Mendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-6.

In the 52nd minute Claus Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berto Mendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berto Mendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berenguer Colillas in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Berenguer Colillas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berto Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Soler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Berto Mendez. That made the score 1-8 in the 60 minute of play. Berto Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claus Mangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Berto Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Reina in the 72nd minute of play. Leones de Montepinar's Berto Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Maldonado in the 75th minute of play. If Eneko Vilanova had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berto Mendez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claus Mangas in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Leones de Montepinar's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Maldonado came free, but Berto Mendez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claus Mangas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Angelines Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leones de Montepinar's Berto Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berenguer Colillas in the 87th minute of play. Berenguer Colillas had several of the Leones de Montepinar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Berto Mendez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Berto Mendez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-12. When the final whistle sounded Palma City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leones de Montepinar.
