The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureo Comas got free with Berto Mendez in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute Angelines Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berto Mendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fran Morera went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
