The supporters of Tana booed when Alcañiz CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xan Helguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Licerio Valines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Tana got a freekick which was hit by Perico Villa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Montaña in the 15th minute of play forced Alcañiz CD's goalkeeper Pacorro Olmedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xan Helguera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Casado in the 21st minute of play forced Tana's goalkeeper Silban Dulce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xan Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silban Dulce having to interfere. Silban Dulce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Casado in the 30th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Perico Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pacorro Olmedo. Alcañiz CD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perico Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alcañiz CD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Perico Villa scored to the left of an out of position Pacorro Olmedo, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesús Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alcañiz CD's Pacorro Olmedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charro Arraz in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Mas in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silban Dulce saved Tana from getting behind. When Tana's Charro Arraz in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alcañiz CD's goalie prevented a goal. Charro Arraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pacorro Olmedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, one of Alcañiz CD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alcañiz CD. 74 minutes into the match, Tana's goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Casado came free, but Silban Dulce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charro Arraz in the 76th minute of play forced Alcañiz CD's goalkeeper Pacorro Olmedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silban Dulce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manolo Mas in the 84th minute. Charro Arraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pacorro Olmedo having to make a save. In the 87th match minute, Alcañiz CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xan Helguera to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Charro Arraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pacorro Olmedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 97th minute, Charro Arraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tana had won after a very even match.
