Felipe Puyol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Serafin Shantala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cangrejos's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Shantala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Oblak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-6 became the score in the 45th minute when Teodosio Caballero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Medardo Valines was the one to do the kick off. UNITED's Eneko Bodelon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Caballero in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Puyol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorio De Toro during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of UNITED booed when Los Cangrejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneko Bodelon ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodosio Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Cangrejos getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rami Dorado hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Teodosio Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes in the game Romano Torres did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Medardo Valines. Los Cangrejos's Felipe Puyol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Los Cangrejos from getting a goal against them. Felipe Puyol came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by UNITED's Teodosio Caballero. But to his dismay, Teodosio Caballero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. UNITED's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
