Gilesindo Neculman took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Vărzaru. Irinel Vărzaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match Real Rocamora got a corner. Coslada Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lothar Matthäus ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ludwig Kilstedts short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Irinel Vărzaru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Coslada Juniors's Irinel Vărzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Kilstedt in the 25th minute of play. Ludwig Kilstedt scored 3-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irinel Vărzaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Irinel Vărzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Kilstedt in the 32nd minute. Irinel Vărzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilesindo Neculman in the 38th minute of the match. Irinel Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilesindo Neculman, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Lothar Matthäus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Irinel Vărzaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lothar Matthäus to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Kilstedt in the 59th minute of play forced Coslada Juniors's goalkeeper Irinel Vărzaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
