Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) After 5 played minutes Madeiro got a freekick which was hit by Lorencio Turrilla. Madeiro's Szymon Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlitos Alcalde in the 6th minute of play. Turi Obis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Ortega in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, CD Canillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivar Camara to maneuver through the defense. Turi Obis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Madeiro got a corner. CD Canillas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Pedro Dantas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd minute José Pedro Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turi Obis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turi Obis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Dantas in the 30th minute of the match. Szymon Sochacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivar Camara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36thth minute of the game José Pedro Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Canillas's Turi Obis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Granati in the 39th minute of play forced CD Canillas's goalkeeper Turi Obis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Nikos Potamianos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Madeiro's Víctor Rapado got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Pedro Dantas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Turi Obis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Víctor Rapado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Canillas's goalkeeper Turi Obis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Madeiro's José Pedro Dantas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turi Obis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. José Pedro Dantass short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Turi Obis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Carlitos Alcalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84thth minute of the game José Pedro Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Canillas's Turi Obis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, José Pedro Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Turi Obis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Lucian Ortega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes, César Bargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Canillas and the Madeiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, CD Canillas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Bargas to maneuver through the defense. Lucian Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
