Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) C.D.Leon's Eusebio Jurado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eusebio Jurado took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turi Obis. Turi Obis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Xove Gonzalez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.D.Leon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Canillas the free kick. In the 7th match minute, C.D.Leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Xove Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.D.Leon's supporters rose to their feet, but Xove Gonzalez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turi Obis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th match minute, C.D.Leon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xove Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Sierra's late challenge caught a C.D.Leon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Sierra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Canillas's Felipe Sierra got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mariano Caminero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If César Bargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When %teams%'s Eusebio Jurado was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 3-0 just inside the left pole, 28 minutes into the game. Turi Obis was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Turi Obis came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by C.D.Leon's Pericles Martinez. But to his dismay, Pericles Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 43rd minute Eusebio Jurado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turi Obis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Turi Obis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yago Pastor in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and César Bargas made a kick off. Eusebio Jurado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Etxepare Marines fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Canillas's protests and gave Etxepare Marines a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes CD Canillas got a freekick which was hit by Etxepare Marines. The supporters of C.D.Leon booed when CD Canillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lander Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes C.D.Leon got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Caminero. In the 65th minute, Etxepare Marines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, C.D.Leon's Lalla Benítez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pericles Martinez in the 70th minute of play forced CD Canillas's goalkeeper Turi Obis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turi Obis came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.D.Leon's Eusebio Jurado. But to his dismay, Eusebio Jurado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Turi Obis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lalla Benítez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Yago Pastor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turi Obis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, César Bargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, C.D.Leon's Yago Pastor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turi Obis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Mariano Caminero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Etxepare Marines got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 91 minutes of play, C.D.Leon's Mariano Caminero made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turi Obis was left in no man's land by his defense there! C.D.Leon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
