Romualdo Figueroa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Laredo went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute Klement Naumowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romualdo Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Ontigola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfronso Palomar to maneuver through the defense. When Auckland Titans II's Casimiro Titos in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Naumowicz in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romualdo Figueroa saved Auckland Titans II from getting behind. Vachon Soler kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the game Cirino Verdu made a throw-in which Kamal Al Attar played forward. Romualdo Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Naumowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alfronso Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romualdo Figueroa having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Naumowicz in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romualdo Figueroa saved Auckland Titans II from getting behind. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ontigola AFC's goalkeeper Ramón Menendez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Auckland Titans II defense, Alfronso Palomar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romualdo Figueroa. The Auckland Titans II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romualdo Figueroa should have stopped the shot. Romualdo Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 played minutes Ontigola AFC got a freekick which was hit by Crescencio Morado.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klement Naumowicz was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Ontigola AFC's Klement Naumowicz made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romualdo Figueroa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romualdo Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toño Abril in the 56th minute. Alfronso Palomar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Romualdo Figueroa made a huge save. Ontigola AFC's Ramón Menendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vachon Soler in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Ontigola AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loren Coya to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Menendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Auckland Titans II getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vachon Soler hit a great ball. In the 65th play minute Klement Naumowicz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Romualdo Figueroa. 1-6. After 71 minutes, Fabricio Dulce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Auckland Titans II and the Ontigola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ontigola AFC booed when Auckland Titans II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Dulce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romualdo Figueroa stood somewhat misplaced when Klement Naumowicz came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 73 minute. In the 75th minute, Jimeno Zurica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Klement Naumowicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romualdo Figueroa. Klement Naumowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Romualdo Figueroa made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Alfronso Palomar sent off a good shot on target. Klement Naumowicz made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 81stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Romualdo Figueroa would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Klement Naumowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romualdo Figueroa was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. With a little luck, Auckland Titans II's Romualdo Figueroa got control of the ball when Toño Abril tried to sneak it across the goal line. Klement Naumowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Ontigola AFC booed when Auckland Titans II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fuad Kakoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ontigola AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
