Fidencio Infante scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julen Mas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastiano Vazquez in the 77th minute of play forced Milan Chupao's goalkeeper Julen Mas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Marcilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Zubiaga in the 79th minute of the match. When Nahia Babia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. 87 minutes into the match, Milan Chupao's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Candela came free, but Julen Mas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Sebastiano Vazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
