Antoni Belalcaraz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Kiko Marcilla made a huge save. 18 minutes into the match, Velez Bcn SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Fidencio Infante came free, but Francisc Negru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandamias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez Bcn SAD the free kick. Generoso Candela hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sandamias FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Velez Bcn SAD side.
