The referee ignored Marcelo´s FC's protests and gave Zoel Pedriza a yellow card for diving instead. Zoel Pedriza kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Xofre Galdamez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asensio Reina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Zoel Pedriza notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SD Cruces's Xofre Galdamez. SD Cruces's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 92 minutes, Asensio Reina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcelo´s FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asensio Reina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelo´s FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
