Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 160) Matasuegras FC's Espiridion Garcia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match El Palmar got a corner. Matasuegras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tuste De Pedro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 8 played minutes El Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Elguero. Indalecio Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerico Aranzubia in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Matasuegras FC booed when El Palmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaio Morera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Indalecio Blazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espiridion Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bienvenido Mera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Matasuegras FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. King Salido hit a great ball. Delfino Orbiz charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delfino Orbiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of El Palmar booed when Matasuegras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfino Orbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Matasuegras FC's zone, Tuste De Pedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Wallengren came out of the goal and Tuste De Pedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Indalecio Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espiridion Garcia in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Espiridion Garcia in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Indalecio Blazquez saved El Palmar from getting behind. Mats Wallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cedro Echeto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Indalecio Blazquez came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Matasuegras FC's Barry Dimmock. But to his dismay, Barry Dimmock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The El Palmar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matasuegras FC were winning 0-2.
Matasuegras FC's Mats Wallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Elguero in the 55th minute of play. If Bienvenido Mera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Bienvenido Mera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of El Palmar booed when Matasuegras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casemiro Mønster didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes, Cedro Echeto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Palmar and the Matasuegras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes El Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Cedro Echeto. Indalecio Blazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerico Aranzubia, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Matasuegras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cedro Echeto came free, but Mats Wallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, El Palmar's Bienvenido Mera got a free kick in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, El Palmar's Rufo Gonzalez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Espiridion Garcia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Indalecio Blazquez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute Matasuegras FC were awarded a corner. Dikdik Ardiwilaga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dikdik Ardiwilaga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Indalecio Blazquez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 90 played minutes El Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Tuste De Pedro. When Matasuegras FC's Espiridion Garcia in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Palmar's goalie prevented a goal.
