Paredes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jules Pélissier in the 8th minute. Indalecio Blazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Che Maroto in the 12th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, El Palmar's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Morales came free, but Indalecio Blazquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Paredes booed when El Palmar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cedro Echeto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes El Palmar got a freekick which was hit by Machado Litago. Evangelista Guerrero was a little too slow when Bienvenido Mera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cambranes Romero during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. El Palmar made a substitution. Veremundo Reina replaced Cedro Echeto. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of El Palmar booed when Paredes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roldán Urquijo didn't get a good kick on the ball.
