The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Hector Buenafuente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zairack Team and the Club Atletico Arteixo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Hector Buenafuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Feliks Mazić notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Zairack Team's Paquito Abrego. Paquito Abrego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 7 played minutes Club Atletico Arteixo got a freekick which was hit by Zuberoa Alabern. Zairack Team's Paquito Abrego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Zairack Team from getting a goal against them. Topi Vähäsavo charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Topi Vähäsavo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Zairack Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topi Vähäsavo to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Club Atletico Arteixo got a freekick which was hit by Abad Durango. 23 minutes into the match, Zairack Team's goalkeeper Paquito Abrego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zuberoa Alabern. Paquito Abrego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Mark Lenders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zairack Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Arteixo the free kick. When Feliks Mazić came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Club Atletico Arteixo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliks Mazić couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Arteixo's Abad Durango got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes, Zairack Team's Eneko Vila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ziya Onur Akıncıbey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Zairack Team reached it. In the 63rd minute, Feliks Mazić made a precise shot to the right of Paquito Abrego. Zairack Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 66th minute of the match Eneko Vila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ziya Onur Akıncıbey skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Club Atletico Arteixo booed when Zairack Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Topi Vähäsavo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Zairack Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Topi Vähäsavo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Zairack Team's zone, Nicasio Echavarri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paquito Abrego came out of the goal and Nicasio Echavarri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quilo Morcego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Paquito Abrego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edur Radaban kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Abad Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Chano De Pedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abad Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Zairack Team's Misael Carballeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ziya Onur Akıncıbey. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Paquito Abrego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Alabern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofer Pedraza in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Atletico Arteixo fully deserved thier win.
