Felip Buenafuente charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felip Buenafuente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Gata de Cueva CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felip Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Carrasco in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Killian Mbappè saved Gata de Cueva CF from getting behind. Killian Mbappè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Tănăsescu in the 7th minute of play. Florin Tănăsescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Omar Carrasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Killian Mbappè saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dagoberto Jofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Killian Mbappè. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dagoberto Jofre ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Florin Tănăsescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Killian Mbappè was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Poncio Montero's late challenge caught a Urgull's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Poncio Montero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Urgull booed when Gata de Cueva CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Poncio Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florin Tănăsescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florin Tănăsescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Urgull's Florin Tănăsescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Killian Mbappè made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Dagoberto Jofre came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Urgull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dagoberto Jofre couldn't finish the play. Naike Tobias made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Felip Buenafuente sent off a good shot on target. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gata de Cueva CF! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Urgull. Codruț Capisizu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Killian Mbappè. 0-3. In the 34th minute, Omar Carrasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Killian Mbappè was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 44th minute of the match Andrés-Fernando Salazar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Killian Mbappè showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Poncio Montero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Florin Tănăsescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Urgull getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rolando Radaban hit a great ball. Florin Tănăsescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Poncio Montero scored 1-7 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naike Tobias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Codruț Capisizu put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Killian Mbappè. Killian Mbappè didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 1-9. During the 93rd minute of the match Felip Buenafuente completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Felip Buenafuente a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 93rd match minute, Gata de Cueva CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felip Buenafuente to maneuver through the defense. Urgull's Florin Tănăsescu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urgull's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
