The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zuberoa Moreno was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Jonathan Rosas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente Genil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Rosas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Abundio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente Genil's supporters rose to their feet, but Abundio Patiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Viejo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Viejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Puente Genil's Bernard Valerón got a free kick in the 68th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Puente Genil's Jonathan Rosas tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Abundio Patiño notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Doña Ana's Froilan Viejo. Froilan Viejo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Jonathan Rosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Viejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Clos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Puente Genil fully deserved thier win.
