Leocadio Campello made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Doña Ana's Iago Escurza. Doña Ana's attentive Iago Escurza managed to snatch the ball when Leocadio Campello made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. The supporters of Doña Ana booed when Urgull was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Jofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Urgull got a freekick which was hit by Bela Valverde. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codruț Capisizu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Froilan Viejo saved Doña Ana from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, Urgull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qwinton Casillas to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuberoa Moreno in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naike Tobias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute of the match Gaston Cartagena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naike Tobias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th match minute, Urgull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Tănăsescu to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, one of Urgull:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Doña Ana a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaston Cartagena, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Urgull's Naike Tobias. 0-1. Dagoberto Jofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Viejo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codruț Capisizu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doña Ana's goalkeeper Froilan Viejo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Naike Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zuberoa Moreno in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Qwinton Casillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Urgull's Codruț Capisizu got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, Urgull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jago Pedraza to maneuver through the defense. If Dagoberto Jofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Jofre struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Froilan Viejo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Urgull. Froilan Viejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Capisizu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute, Florin Tănăsescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuberoa Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naike Tobias having to interfere. Doña Ana were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Urgull to leave the ground with a draw.
