Unai Ladra came out of the goal and Marcelino Clos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Abundio Patiño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Unai Ladra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 minutes, Abundio Patiño made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Campanar City's Unai Ladra tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Abundio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puente Genil's supporters rose to their feet, but Abundio Patiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unai Ladra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Abundio Patiño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Unai Ladra. Campanar City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abundio Patiño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Alba Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Unai Ladra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Jonathan Rosas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puente Genil and the Campanar City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Puente Genil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Rosas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Abundio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente Genil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abundio Patiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Clos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Ladra having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abundio Patiño to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ariando Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alba Feliu, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Unai Ladra came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Puente Genil's Abundio Patiño. But to his dismay, Abundio Patiño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Puente Genil's Rami Babia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Ignacio Ocaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abundio Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Rosas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Unai Ladra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Rosas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Campanar City's zone, Rami Babia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Unai Ladra came out of the goal and Rami Babia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Puente Genil booed when Campanar City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresenciano Alarcon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Abundio Patiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puente Genil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abundio Patiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Rosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abundio Patiño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abundio Patiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Unai Ladra having to interfere. Puente Genil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
