Príncipe de Viana's Rafael Taurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Grau in the 13th minute of play. Laurgain Toxeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Santiago Caldera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Venancio Huarte got free with Rafael Taurino in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the F.C. Príncipe de Viana defense, Jimeno Guasch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Taurino. The F.C. Príncipe de Viana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Taurino should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xanti Domingo during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Príncipe de Viana's Li Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

LLOPS made a substitution. Feliciano Vadillos replaced Honorato Dellasierra. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Huarte made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, LLOPS's Frances Grau made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Taurino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rafael Taurino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Huarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. F.C. Príncipe de Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Xalvador Canyelles came free, but Rafael Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LLOPS fully deserved thier win.
