In the 3rd minute, Aita Soldado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrent C. F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cloyo Dulce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Riells in the 6th minute of play. When Gelmiro Contratas fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sevilla's protests and gave Gelmiro Contratas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sevilla's Gelmiro Contratas got a free kick in the 8th minute. Cloyo Dulce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aita Soldado, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Sevilla getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Xines Cayuela hit a great ball. Adrián Riells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cloyo Dulce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aita Soldado in the 21st minute of play. Amancio Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Dulce having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Francisco Serrano put in a rough tackle. Amancio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cloyo Dulce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrián Riells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Dulce having to interfere. Eleazar De la Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Adrián Riells managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torrent C. F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Riells was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrián Riells took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cloyo Dulce. Cloyo Dulce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. If Adrián Riells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Adrián Riells made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Torrent C. F. were awarded a corner. Sotero Azofra went to the cornerflag to take it. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Cloyo Dulce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute, Roberto Olle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Sevilla's goalkeeper Cloyo Dulce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotero Azofra. Cloyo Dulce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aita Soldado in the 64th minute. Aita Soldado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cloyo Dulce having to interfere. In the 68th play minute Aita Soldado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cloyo Dulce. 0-5. Sten Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Huarte in the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Aita Soldado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrent C. F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Aita Soldado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cloyo Dulce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Amancio Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Torrent C. F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Cruz couldn't finish the play. Adrián Riells's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cloyo Dulce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Mendebal Zurica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torrent C. F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sevilla the free kick. The supporters of Sevilla booed when Torrent C. F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mendebal Zurica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Amancio Cruz saw that he had a good position to shoot and he shot a long ball on target, but the ball went just outside the left post. Cordaro Amorebieta struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Cloyo Dulce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrent C. F.. After 85 played minutes Sevilla got a freekick which was hit by Xines Cayuela. Aita Soldado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Sevilla's goalkeeper Cloyo Dulce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aita Soldado. Amancio Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Cloyo Dulce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Cruz in the 96th minute. When the match was over Torrent C. F. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sevilla throughout the match.
