After 8 minutes, Matthew Cardeñosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX BLACK and the Fuerzas Armadas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elvio Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Carballido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Rivas in the 89th minute of the match. PHOENIX BLACK's Joel Domenech got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, PHOENIX BLACK's goal looked a bit too open when Xerardo Amer came free, but Jimeno Carballido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PHOENIX BLACK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fuerzas Armadas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
