Ullets-Fantfosti's Almir Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Hetman in the 25th minute of play. Gartzen Barberá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldovino Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Ullets-Fantfosti's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Mis came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Allariz CD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ullets-Fantfosti:s goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Esteban to make the kick off. Luciano Esteban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Almir Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
