In the 15th minute Firmin Lombard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Zuberoa Zamora notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Zumbadores's Nicolas Polo. Nicolas Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, Zumbadores's goal looked a bit too open when Oliverio Revuelta came free, but Nicolas Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Zumbadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Harroyo to maneuver through the defense. Sergi Urquijo came out of the goal and Iraitz Garrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Manel Caballero came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the UD Linares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manel Caballero couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuberoa Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Firmin Lombard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Linares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zumbadores the free kick. After 47 played minutes UD Linares got a freekick which was hit by Firmin Lombard.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zuberoa Zamora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Zumbadores's goal looked a bit too open when Zuberoa Zamora came free, but Nicolas Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. UD Linares's supporters rose to their feet, but Firmin Lombard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Zumbadores fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Linares were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
