Tobias De Pablo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zuberoa Zamora in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gartzea Garay got free with Sergi Urquijo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gartzea Garay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergi Urquijo having to interfere. Manel Caballero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jon Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias De Pablo was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon Moreira in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias De Pablo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 27 minutes, Gartzea Garay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. F. Camós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gartzea Garay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergi Urquijo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gartzea Garay in the 29th minute. Manel Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Firmin Lombard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Linares fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tobias De Pablo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliverio Revuelta's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Emilio Dorado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergi Urquijo. The goal made the score 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Dorado made a kick off. If Emilio Dorado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes UD Linares got a freekick which was hit by Kemen Pantoja. UD Linares's Sergi Urquijo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Dorado in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gartzea Garay in the 64th minute of play forced UD Linares's goalkeeper Sergi Urquijo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Firmin Lombard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Zuberoa Zamora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to UD Linares getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zuberoa Zamora hit a great ball. Emilio Dorado might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergi Urquijo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Dorado ran back to his position shaking his head. Sergi Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartzea Garay in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by UD Linares's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gartzea Garay was slow to take the kick. During this time C. F. Camós's players had a chance to rest. C. F. Camós were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after UD Linares's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartzea Garay took the corner. Oscar Morado hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Oscar Morado stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of UD Linares's defenders and the ball went out. C. F. Camós appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Gartzea Garay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergi Urquijo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. C. F. Camós's Gartzea Garay got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
