Rentería F's Anakoz Blanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firmin Lombard in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute Firmin Lombard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anakoz Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverio Revuelta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmin Lombard in the 14th minute of play forced Rentería F's goalkeeper Anakoz Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Rentería F's goalkeeper Anakoz Blanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Firmin Lombard. In the 18th minute, Elazar Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zuberoa Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, UD Linares's Jon Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anakoz Blanco. Anakoz Blanco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After 28 played minutes Rentería F got a freekick which was hit by Elazar Checa. With a little luck, Rentería F's Anakoz Blanco got control of the ball when Manel Caballero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rentería F's Anakoz Blanco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Rentería F from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Guter De Pablo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rentería F's supporters rose to their feet, but Guter De Pablo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergi Urquijo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anakoz Blanco stood somewhat misplaced when Jon Moreira came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmin Lombard in the 44th minute of play forced Rentería F's goalkeeper Anakoz Blanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Rentería F's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Moreira came free, but Anakoz Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rentería F's Elazar Checa got a free kick in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Jon Moreira made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Rentería F's goal looked a bit too open when Zuberoa Zamora came free, but Anakoz Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hechter Llorca hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Anakoz Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zuberoa Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Fabricio Diaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergi Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hechter Llorca in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in UD Linares's zone, Juan Higuera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergi Urquijo came out of the goal and Juan Higuera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Guter De Pablo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zuberoa Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 66 minutes into the match, UD Linares's Zuberoa Zamora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anakoz Blanco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chano Millán hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Manel Caballero kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Elazar Checa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Anakoz Blanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemen Pantoja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Linares's goalkeeper Sergi Urquijo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Jon Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anakoz Blanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Guter De Pablo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Sergi Urquijo made a huge save. Anakoz Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firmin Lombard in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Rentería F's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Moreira came free, but Anakoz Blanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anakoz Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Moreira in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Firmin Lombard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anakoz Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
