Bob Cazeneuve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute, Almir Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Corneliu Lupu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Alabern kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomás Quadros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tomás Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Arsene saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd play minute Valentinos Kolofotias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bob Cazeneuve. 0-4. Zygmunt Pieknik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bob Cazeneuve firmly grabbed it by the left post. MLM made a substitution. Cristos Huarte replaced Flavio Colillas. When MLM's Tomás Quadros in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maule Crespo got free with Bob Cazeneuve in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 80 in the game by Corneliu Lupu from a close distance when the talented Bob Cazeneuve managed to make a qualified save. MLM's players were relieved. Ollavarre played a much better game than MLM and deserved their victory. The MLM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
