Millán Zafrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, MLM's Almir Carioca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teofilo Acarreta. Teofilo Acarreta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Teofilo Acarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Tidén in the 24th minute of play. Almir Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Millán Zafrilla hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, Real Canyet FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Millán Zafrilla to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Quadros in the 32nd minute of play forced Real Canyet FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Acarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Brun Mangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Velasco in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Tomás Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MLM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Quadros to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tomás Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MLM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Teofilo Acarreta came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by MLM's Henrik Tidén. But to his dismay, Henrik Tidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Tomás Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teofilo Acarreta having to make a save. Tomás Quadros took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Acarreta. Teofilo Acarreta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Froilan Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Salif Keita hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Froilan Arias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bob Cazeneuve saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Argi Saura hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Carmelo Velasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bob Cazeneuve. MLM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When MLM's Tomás Quadros in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Canyet FC's goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, MLM's Tomás Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Acarreta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tomás Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teofilo Acarreta was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Almir Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Acarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Real Canyet FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Marcelino Sierra hit a great ball. Tomás Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Argi Saura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Quadros in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Acarreta saved Real Canyet FC from getting behind. MLM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
