The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Henrik Tidén made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. OOPS!'s Nerio Gutierrez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, OOPS!'s Auderico Hidalgo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Argi Saura took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nerio Gutierrez. Nerio Gutierrez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 20 minutes into the match, Henrik Tidén notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of OOPS!'s Nerio Gutierrez. Nerio Gutierrez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. OOPS!'s Auderico Hidalgo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Blas Romelio, made in the 25th minute of the game. Nerio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nerio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Quadros in the 34th minute of the match. Henrik Tidén scored 0-5 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nerio Gutierrez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Henrik Tidén left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MLM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. 47 minutes into the match, OOPS!'s goal looked a bit too open when Argi Saura came free, but Nerio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nerio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Tidén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Quadros to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Tidén. 53 minutes into the match, Tomás Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nerio Gutierrez. OOPS!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After some careless play in the OOPS! defense, Tomás Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nerio Gutierrez. The OOPS! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nerio Gutierrez should have stopped the shot. After 64 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Almir Carioca. OOPS!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Tomás Quadros scored to the left of an out of position Nerio Gutierrez, making the score, 0-10. In the 73rd minute, Almir Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nerio Gutierrez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 0-11. The crowd rose to their feet as MLM's Tomás Quadros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nerio Gutierrez. That made the score 0-12 after 79 minutes of play. Henrik Tidén received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nerio Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Henrik Tidén slotted it home off the left post making it 0-13 in the 85th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Almir Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Nerio Gutierrez to make any attempt to save it. Tomás Quadros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nerio Gutierrez came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomás Quadros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 93rd minute. Nerio Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Quadros in the 97th minute of play. The OOPS! fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MLM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
