The supporters of El Pasteral F.C booed when La Mora CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Du Jian Chen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Váldson Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Coutinho in the 18th minute of play forced El Pasteral F.C's goalkeeper Xurdin Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Coronel Andres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xurdin Ibanez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Du Jian Chen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xurdin Ibanez. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. The wind increased when Coronel Andres made the kick off in the second half. Zachary Olejasz's late challenge caught a La Mora CAT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zachary Olejasz helped the player get up and apologised. Zachary Olejasz hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, El Pasteral F.C's Coronel Llinares got a free kick in the 56th minute. With a little luck, La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş got control of the ball when Conrado George tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xurdin Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Andres, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. With an all-out effort, El Pasteral F.C's Şenol Güneş threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arximiro Unzueta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes into the match, El Pasteral F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Andres came free, but Xurdin Ibanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Du Jian Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mora CAT's supporters rose to their feet, but Du Jian Chen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurdin Ibanez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Frank Alvarenga replaced Etor Benito. La Mora CAT's Wayne Rooney was substituted for Coronel Andres. Váldson Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. El Pasteral F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
