Lucas Darling scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inge Marin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Batuhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hibai Olano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuatrodeocho's Gábor Gyepes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fortun Roca, made in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucero Mezquita in the 31st minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Inge Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucero Mezquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Lucero Mezquita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inge Marin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. David Batuhin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 41st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Batuhin in the 45th minute of play forced Sperides's goalkeeper Hibai Olano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hibai Olano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucero Mezquita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If David Batuhin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hibai Olano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Batuhin in the 54th minute of the match. Inge Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Santalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cuatrodeocho's Eraldo Berardini was substituted for Kaan Ayhan. In the 57th minute Sperides were awarded a corner. Isaac Carballido went to the cornerflag to take it. Sperides's Isaac Carballido was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Inge Marin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd minute of the match Cuatrodeocho got a corner. Sperides's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Entrena ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cuatrodeocho's Ramiro Oliverio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hibai Olano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cuatrodeocho's Inge Marin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cuatrodeocho from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Inge Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Darling. In the 65th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Desailly charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Desailly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sperides! Hibai Olano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. David Batuhin might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hibai Olano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Batuhin ran back to his position shaking his head. Sperides's Hibai Olano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sperides's Lucero Mezquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inge Marin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lucero Mezquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Iván Villafane made a precise shot to the right of Hibai Olano. Sperides's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Despite being the better team, Sperides failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
