Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Mora CAT's zone, Xurxo Lagunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şenol Güneş came out of the goal and Xurxo Lagunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coronel Andres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Delgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Coronel Andres notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado. Ermegildo Delgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Coronel Andres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes, La Mora CAT's Severino Coutinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Mora CAT reached it. In the 66th minute, Du Jian Chen made a precise shot to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. Asturcones d´la Abadía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Coutinho in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş got control of the ball when Veremundo Lastras tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asturcones d´la Abadía's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
