Montrel Olmedo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montrel Olmedo to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Camarasa came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9thth minute of the game Filomeno Tormes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Asturcones d´la Abadía defense, Carlos Camarasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Delgado should have stopped the shot. Atauri Salan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Tormes in the 18th minute of the match. Asturcones d´la Abadía were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after A.D. Puente Cantalojas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filomeno Tormes took the corner. Roberto-Carlos Rocha thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Atauri Salan, a very annoying self made goal in the 21st minute which led to 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Tormes came free, but Atauri Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Arvin Låsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvin Låsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atauri Salan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Bart Brandie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40thth minute of the game Veremundo Lastras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Carlos Camarasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Delgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Camarasa's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Camarasa to make the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Asturcones d´la Abadía:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.D. Puente Cantalojas:s goal. Ermegildo Delgado had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Arvin Låsberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bart Brandie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, A.D. Puente Cantalojas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bart Brandie to maneuver through the defense. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Filomeno Tormes scored to the left of an out of position Atauri Salan, making the score, 1-2. In the 74th minute Carlos Camarasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Tormes in the 79th minute of play. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Camarasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Carlos Camarasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montrel Olmedo's late challenge caught a A.D. Puente Cantalojas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Montrel Olmedo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A.D. Puente Cantalojas booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montrel Olmedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The A.D. Puente Cantalojas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Asturcones d´la Abadía's performance. The match ended with a win for Asturcones d´la Abadía.
