After 44 minutes Junta De Los Rios CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tommy Galle who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amarante Gibert was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Puerto de Sagunto CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Félix to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Puerto de Sagunto CF's zone, Ricardo Carballido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Yong Nan came out of the goal and Ricardo Carballido tried to chip the ball over his head.
